GAIN Concept designed and developed VULCAIN with a sole objective in mind; that of creating a user-friendly tool requiring a minimum of computer skills, allowing customised computer applications that are secure at all times. This new approach provides all the information needed to achieve optimal interventions, simulations and officer training management. VULCAIN includes 2 main sections:

Pre-planned intervention forms are designed in compliance with NFPA 16-20 Standards and offer users the possibility to add multiple-format picture files for each paragraph, business, structure, hazardous material, detection system, etc. Electronic editing by an officer is possible depending on privileges granted.

ERM is in graphics mode just like your PC resource installation kit and gives users the possibility to record moving times for each of your resources, including: officers, firefighters, service personnel, call time units, arrival times, time in action, time in rehabilitation, on the premises, availability, in management, etc. In just one click, you can have access to all the related information you need, for example: name, employee number, phone number, mobile phone number, address, etc. During an emergency response case, it is possible to consult a pre-planned diagram of a scene or even create, in a matter of seconds, plan and profile views of a building, including architectural details such as: the type of roof (sloped or flat), the number of storeys, basements and parking spaces. Some sixty icons, out of a possibility of two hundred, are already defined, for example: doors, windows, walls, fire hydrants, streets, WHIMS, tanks, fire, smoke, alarms, and many others… a calculation of an estimated water flow (GPM) are included.
